Fílmico is part of Center Stage, a public diplomacy initiative of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs with funding provided by the U.S. Government, administered by the New England Foundation for the Arts in cooperation with the U.S. Regional Arts Organizations. About the Company / directxr or directxrs:

Chaska Mori  is a Peruvian playwright,  director, screenwriter  and producer. She studied Political science at the institute of political studies  of Grenoble-France. Later she trained  in dramaturgy, direction  and acting  in  Lima  and Spain. She got  a scholarship  from Casa  de  América (Madrid)  for  dramaturgy and theater direction. She has worked in Spain on audiovisual projects and  coordinated the Art  and  Human Rights Festival  of  Western Sahara, “Artifariti ”. When she returned to Peru, she founded the audiovisual production company  “Fílmico”, where she produced  short films  and her most recent documentary “The Search”, which has been awarded at international festivals. She has also been the academic coordinator  of the specialized courses  of Dramaturgy: Theatre  & Memory,  and Autofictions, organized by the Goethe Institute and PacificUniversity`s Cultural Centre in Lima.
