Born in Peru but raised in Queens, New York. His inspiration for photography has always come from the people and history of New York. When he began photography, Frank would walk the streets of New York for fun, watch people, and photograph those moments. In college, he started lurking in the office of St. John’s Yearbook. He began developing B&W negatives and obtained a better understanding of camera techniques. Frank has been wrestling with pixels since the early ’90s with the early versions of Photoshop. Frank has always believed in taking great photographs and is adept at manipulating environments, cameras, lights, models, props, and pixels to achieve the desired final image. Having New York roots with a commitment to diversity and respect for culture. His philosophy is that a photo shoot should be a fun and relaxing experience. Frank allows headshot sessions to unfold organically and try to avoid any cookie-cutter approaches.
