Gertrudis Calvario, better known as Candela, has spent years trying to consolidate her career as an actress. Despite her difficulties learning lines, she has managed to star in a movie. The night of its premiere, a movie accident destroys their hopes. Perla Rosa, better known as the butterfly of the song, offers a concert in order to present her new album. Although they seem to be in the wrong place, fate will turn the unfortune meeting of both women into a hymn to the dignity and will of those who fight for their dreams.

JAZZ VILÁ PROJECTS (JVP) is a professional theater company founded in 2014 under the artistic and general direction of Jazz Vilá. Rascacielos, Eclipse and Farándula, constitute the trilogy of consecutive successes that define the group as a profitable model between art and market. His vision develops the creation of minimalist montages focused on universal themes such as lack of communication, sexuality, and the abuse of power. As part of its commitment to the dissemination of theater, JVP has performed at national and international festivals and regular programming in the Dominican Republic and the United States. He is the Founder of the Latin American Chamber Music Society and Founder of Azlo Productions.
Regarding the director or directors:
Jazz Vila Actor, director, producer and playwright, graduated from the National School of Performing Arts of Cuba. He began his acting career at the age of 14 and made his directorial debut at the age of 17 with his own adaptation of “La casa de Bernarda Alba” at the Alicia Alonso Theater in Havana. His most recent works are the hit Dominican film Hotel Coppelia, released on HBOMAX and the American film The Mick and the Trick in which he co-stars with Peter Grenne. Vilá achieved recognition thanks to the film Juan de los muertos or the popular Spanish series Paquita Salas for Netflix. In 2019 he was a jury member of the Morelia Quorum Film Festival (Mexico) and in 2017 he was awarded the Incubator Artist Program in Texas (USA). He has been invited to prestigious events such as the Avignon Festival, the Talent Corner of the Cannes Film Festival (France), the Talent Guadalajara, the Platino Awards (Mexico) or the Berlinale Talent (Germany).
