The Reading Series serves playwrights, actors, directors, and theatre-makers of the Latinx community through forging and nurturing collaborative relationships and supporting the development of new works by Latinx voices.Additionally, it invites the local community to witness theater in an early stage, unadorned and raw. It also empowers audiences to engage with how stories are written and presented through talkbacks and feedback sessions. Over the course of the fiscal year, the LATEA Reading Series will collaborate with over 12 writers and directors, over 30 actors, and more than 360 audience members.
