Open Screen Details
LATEA’s Open Screen exists to inspire and encourage emerging filmmakers to connect with each other and their audiences through community screenings, networking events, and workshops.
Event Date: October 23, 2018
Location: Teatro LATEA, 107 Suffolk St, New York, NY 10002
One submission per filmmaker per event please
Hosted by Teatro LATEA, Open Screen (OS) is a screening forum for all submissions. This openness is enhanced by then sitting each filmmaker in the “hot seat” for 3 minutes of unfiltered feedback from a live audience. After screenings, filmmakers and their guests are invited to a live interview and discussion with industry professionals, to be conducted by veteran actor Tony Ruiz.
For this October’s LATEA OS, Halloween & Horror invites filmmakers to submit their 1-7 minute films across all genres. Production crew (producer, writer, actor, composer, etc.) are encouraged to attend and share in the creative feedback, criticism and accolades.
