The company’s performances\, featuring Carole Alexis’ diverse choreographies\, dwell on  the beauty of dance movement fully aligned with the profound emotion associated with Afro Caribbean roots.   \neMeLeK is a cultural and artistic project/festival presented yearly at Teatro LATEA in New York. Curated with a focus on celebrating African diasporic and Afro‑Latinx culture and legacy\, the festival connects to the principles of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of equality\, justice\, healing\, and reconciliation.
