Synopsis:

Candela Flamenco Ensemble offers a pure yet contemporary Flamenco experience, where song, dance, and guitar intertwine to create a performance filled with raw emotion and depth. Rooted in tradition yet shaped by the pulse of New York City, this ensemble brings Flamenco to the East Village with an authentic yet urban edge.

In true Flamenco spirit, the night unfolds through improvisation and spontaneity, where moments of intensity, beauty, and duende emerge organically. Voices, rhythms, and movement blend into an ephemeral tapestry—unique, unrepeatable, and deeply felt.

With Barbara Martinez on vocals, Jackson Scott on guitar, and Cristina Candela on dance, this is Flamenco in its most essential and immediate form—born in tradition, alive in the moment.
