Brave Lord tells the story of a former Young Lord “Hector the Merchant Poet” who after doing some time in Rikers Island correction facilities in an act of redemption, as a promise for his late abuelita decides to do community service counseling across different juvenile detention centers by inspiring and teaching the youth to become leaders as soldiers of struggles in their urban communities.
Éric-Dominique Pérez – Playwright/Actor
Éric-Dominique Pérez; is a Nuyorican Actor/Playwright born in Santurce, Puerto Rico who has appeared in various Spanish/English T.V. & Film productions as well as Off-Off Broadway plays including his well acclaimed solo show El Gringuito which earned him a Premios Arte Awards nomination in 2013. Pérez is also the CEO/Artistic director of the performing arts organization Dead Jíbaros Productions.

Jessica Carmona; is an award-winning Actress/Playwright, born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Carmona received the Best Actress Award & Best Film Award at The Peoples Film Festival for her movie Millie and the Lords. Millie and the Lords is currently on HBO. Jessica’s play, “Elvira-The Immigration Play” was featured at the NYC Fringe Festival. She is a graduate of N.Y.U. Felix Hiciano; Originally from Washington Heights, N.Y. of Dominican descent is an Actor, Stage Manager, Playwright, Director, and Producer.
